Our aim
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across pakistanee.com.
What we do
- All pages work with a keyboard, with visible focus.
- Illustrations that carry meaning have text alternatives. Decorative art is hidden from screen readers.
- Animations stop when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Text and backgrounds are chosen for strong contrast.
- Pages use proper headings and landmarks, and adapt to small screens and zoom.
- Urdu text is marked as Urdu, so screen readers can switch language.
Known limitations
- The pronunciation button relies on your device’s voices, and some devices have no Urdu voice.
- Some illustrations do not yet have full descriptions of every detail.
- Share-card images contain text. The same text is always on the page itself.
- Third-party sites we link to have their own accessibility.
Feedback
If something is hard to use, email hello@pakistanee.com with the page and the problem. We aim to reply within five working days.
